I’m a passionate and experienced care professional with over 15 years in the industry, having worked in various roles from Support Worker to Registered Manager. Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to helping vulnerable adults live their lives to the fullest, with a focus on empowering their independence.
I’ve had the privilege of leading and managing teams, developing person-centred care plans, and fostering strong relationships with both families and healthcare professionals.
This has been an amazing journey , which bring lots of joy. I’m always eager to learn and grow, and I look forward to bringing my experience and passion to Accedo!
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, reading, fishing, and traveling.
Before I started my career in care I worked as an estate agent administrator. I started my career in healthcare a short time after this and began working as a support worker, I gained experience in this role before I started working as a HR Administrator within health and social care focusing on recruitment & training.
I completed my studies in 2018 whilst working in recruitment to become Level 3 Qualified in property management and residential lettings and have worked as a property liaison officer since. My areas of responsibilities focus on health and safety, reactive and proactive maintenance, preparing tenancy paperwork including assisting prospective clients with universal credit and housing benefit applications
Hi I’m Chris, a qualified Accountant, following a successful career in the Financial Services industry working in the city of London, becoming a EMEA controller, and working at a global level forHewlett Packard Enterprise Service Division amongst others, Chris joined Accedo as Finance Director in 2013.
Chris main focus is on the Financial security of Accedo.
In his spare time he is a motoring enthuse, and a keen sports man.
Vanessa is an accomplished and motivated professional with over 10 years of experience in the accounting field and following a successful period of Accounting Lecturer for AAT.
Vanessa will primarily focus on the day-to-day finance activities of Accedo and in particular our budgeted care hours adherence, utilisation and reconciliation.
Vanessa is detail-oriented, ensuring that all data is accurate and well-accounted for. Her other passions are cooking exquisite international cuisine with different spices and sea fishing.
Has over 15 years of senior management experience in the social care sector and specialises in business management and organisational development. In my role managing both processes and people, I’m committed to cultivating a high-performing, values-driven culture at Accedo Care. As an organisation it’s important that we drive excellence while ensuring that every team member feels valued and empowered.
My core areas of responsibility focus on recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This includes overseeing key strategic initiatives concerning learning and development, workforce planning, and the integration of technology to ensure our teams remain agile and efficient.
Outside of work I enjoy practicing martial arts and hiking which help to fuel my discipline and focus.
I’m Carla with over 12 years of experience as a Manager in Social Care and Human Resources, and 5 years of running my own events business, I have developed a diverse skill set in leadership and team development.
My background includes strategic workforce planning, client care, and successful event execution, blending my expertise in people management with entrepreneurial experience.
Richard is a 35-year industry veteran, with 4X CEO and 3x Chairman positions with multiple exits.
A nurse by training, after attaining the Six Sigma Black Belt qualification, he spent the middle part of his career leading healthcare transformations in organisations across the UK.
Richard is an advisor to LSE-listed Civitas Investment Management, Chairman of Accedo Care Group and advisor to other healthcare organisations when requested. Richard’s main point of focus are business improvement, growth and successful organisational exits.
I have over 25years experience working in health and social care. 20+ of those working in elderly residential, which included elderly with mental health issues and learning disabilities.
I started my career as a care worker and have progressed up through into management, gaining my qualifications through work and practice achieving NVQ/Diploma’s levels 2, 3 & 5. I have also been an in-house trainer on all mandatory subjects in the sector and a manual handling trainer.
I have thoroughly enjoyed transitioning to supported living and seeing the growth in clients that my teams and I have worked with, promoting their independence and skill building so they can live their lives to their full potential – and it’s FANTASTIC!
I began my journey with Accedo Care Limited in October 2016 as a support worker. I started my permanent role based at Abbey House and was transferred to work across other two services, Crossbrook Street and Thurlestone Avenue. I have had the privilege of growing within the organisation, becoming a Team Leader in 2020 whilst based at Thurlestone Avenue and was transferred back to Abbey House where I have progressed to my current role as Service Manager.
This journey has been incredibly fulfilling, and I genuinely enjoy the work I do every day. I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support from the directors, senior management, and my fantastic team, who have played a significant role in my development and success.
